As a BI Analyst at Sporty, you will work with massive datasets to uncover insights that shape key business decisions. You will build dashboards used daily by product managers, traders, and executives, and produce in-depth reports across different business areas with full autonomy over your approach.

Our analysts also play an essential role in maintaining the stability of our reporting systems, ensuring we can consistently deliver accurate information to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and run ETL processes to build and maintain data pipelines
– Extract and analyze large datasets from MySQL
– Optimize existing and new database queries for maximum performance
– Provide clear analysis and reports on key business metrics to stakeholders
– Create and manage dashboards and reports
– Handle data management tasks
– Improve and streamline reporting processes
– Produce ad hoc reports and analysis for clients and stakeholders
– Support restructuring of architecture and databases to meet evolving needs
– Oversee daily maintenance and monitoring of BI databases and dashboards, including emergency response
– Deliver actionable insights that drive product growth

Requirements:
– 3+ years in a similar data-focused role
– Strong SQL skills
– Experience with Python and BI/data visualization tools
– Solid understanding of ETL pipelines
– Strong knowledge of A/B testing
– Familiarity with Airflow
– Understanding of relational databases and data warehouses
– Knowledge of sports and gaming is a plus
– Proactive, analytical, and self-motivated
– Able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Strong communication skills
– Experience or knowledge in the gaming industry
– Hands-on machine learning experience is a bonus
