Piton Labs is looking for a highly motivated person to join us in Business Development and help us kick off our next growth phase. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in two areas: expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates in the GMT-8 (US West Coast) to GMT-3 window; candidates from other regions may also be considered depending on the situation.
**Responsibilities and Expectations**
With support from the founder team, you’ll take part in the full sales process—from the first outreach to closing. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but you should have a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry so you can clearly communicate our value.
Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and proactively reaching out to potential new customers
– Representing Piton Labs in meetings, events, and industry conferences/trade shows
– Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and innovation projects in the enterprise space)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer needs and market feedback
– Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
– Conducting demos and product presentations to show how our solutions help customers solve their challenges
**About You**
You’re driven and experienced in Business Development. You’re strong at building relationships and maintaining them over the long term. In particular, you demonstrate the following strengths:
– **Ownership:** You want to drive the process end-to-end and contribute to the company’s growth
– **Relationship building:** You can win partners and turn your network into customers
– **Strategic thinking:** You understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
– **Technical intuition:** You may not be an engineer, but you’re comfortable in the digital landscape and can communicate our value clearly

**General Requirements**
– English at a native/professional level
– 4+ years of experience in Business Development, ideally in the tech sector
– Demonstrated, verifiable success in winning new customers
**Remote Work**
– Fully remote, no fixed office
– Preferred: candidates located in the USA with the appropriate work authorization
– Secondary: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap with US Eastern Time by about 4–6 hours on most working days
– Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed workspace
