Overview
Welo Data is launching a new project and is looking for detail‑oriented professionals with strong listening and transcription skills to join our team as transcribers. In this remote role, you will accurately transcribe audio recordings and add helpful context through tags and timestamps. Your responsibilities:
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and produce highly accurate transcriptions.
– Insert timestamps to align text precisely with the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other metadata to improve project outcomes.
– Ensure that transcriptions are culturally appropriate and correctly reflect tone and meaning.
– Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all files.
– Follow project deadlines, guidelines, and formatting requirements.

Project details
Commitment: Flexible, at least 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 depending on availability).

Compensation: 35 USD per hour

Requirements:
– Native or professional‑level proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus good English skills.
– Experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic work is an advantage.
– Ability to recognize regional dialects, emotional cues, and contextual details in audio recordings.
– Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an error‑free work style.
– Familiarity with transcription tools and confident use of timestamps and tags.
– Reliable availability and the ability to meet deadlines while delivering high‑quality work.
