Seven Bridges Genomics is building the most advanced cloud computing platform for genomics data analysis on the market. We help these partners investigate and treat all kinds of genetic disorders. We are also excited to have been selected to participate in the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Cloud Pilot, which will accelerate and expand our vision.

Position

As a member of our R&D team you will help create, maintain, test, and innovate on our experimental tools and data sets. You have genomics knowledge and experience that will help guide the team, and will work with the rest of the team to turn prototypes based on theoretical insights into fully-fledged tools ready for production use in a variety of real-world environments. These will be laying the groundwork for the next generation in the field.

An ideal candidate would have:

• experience with genomics;

• a strong background in data science;

• experience dealing with real-world data problems such as versioning, ensuring reproducibility and traceability;

• experience working with databases;

• meticulous attention to data and a voracious appetite for research in all its forms;

• exposure to developing;

and we also think that

• experience developingis a plus, especiallyexposure to Python and/orC/C++;
