Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle. This role supports employees by providing accurate, timely assistance through written communications and HR requests, ensuring a high-quality employee experience. The ideal candidate understands the importance of data confidentiality and is detail-oriented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Own and manage people-operations data and ensure HRIS system accuracy
– Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and follow recommended best practices, including reviewing policies and procedures
– Manage new-hire onboarding and orientation
– Oversee Bugcrowd intranet pages related to the company and HR processes
– Handle general HR requests and questions
– Coordinate the full offboarding process
– Create, run, and validate basic reports or queries
– Support HR administration of special projects across the HR team
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
– 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
– Experience with ADP Workforce Now
– Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
– Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to take ownership of responsibilities
– Proactive problem-solving—anticipate issues and take early action to prevent or reduce them
Pay Range Disclosure
The base pay range for this role reflects a wide range of factors used to determine compensation, including—among others—qualifications, location, education/certifications, experience, skills, training, and other business and organizational needs. At Bugcrowd, it’s not typical to hire at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the details of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for an HR Generalist is $66,200–$83,400. The role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to program rules, where any award (if applicable) depends on factors including individual and organizational performance.
