Looking to work with an awesome candidate, that can develop and maintain a Ruby on Rails application that will revolutionize online shopping. The role requires candidate to think independently, build and test new product features, own development, with minimal oversight from CTO. The role will allow candidate to work in a well-funded startup, respected management team, exposure to the latest technologies in ecommerce and directly work with CEO and CTO. Skills Required • Confidence in building and maintaining an entire Ruby on Rails application with only some help from a senior member • Expert level knowledge of HTML5 + CSS including responsive layouts, touch events and cross-browser issues • Intermediate level knowledge of JavaScript + jQuery • Ruby on Rails • Git • Good with relational databases • Experience integrating with web services Preferred • Experience with key-value data stores like Redis • Server setup and maintenance • 3+ years experience in application development
