About the role:

– Outlier is seeking talented writers fluent in French to assist in training generative AI models
– This is a remote freelance position with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever it suits you

You may contribute by:

– Reviewing French text and ranking a set of AI‑generated responses
– Writing short stories in French based on assigned topics
– Evaluating whether AI‑generated French content is factually correct

Preferred qualifications:

– Professional translation experience
– Background in professional writing, such as copywriting, journalism, technical writing, or editing
– Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities or writing‑related field
– Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program in creative writing

Payment:

– At present, French writing experts typically earn around USD $25 per hour for core project tasks
– Rates vary according to expertise, assessment results, location, project demands, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for advanced qualifications such as a PhD. Non‑core work, including onboarding or overtime phases, may be paid at lower rates. Some projects may also offer bonuses. Please review the payment details for each project.
