We are seeking enthusiastic, knowledgeable language instructors to join Mango Live, our online live teaching program. In this remote contract role, you will design personalized blended learning activities and sessions using Mango Languages’ proprietary tools. You will guide and assess groups or individual working professionals, as well as their spouses and children. Your classes will use the communicative approach along with our exclusive methodologies and curriculum to deliver effective online instruction.

This fully remote position lets you work from anywhere in the world and choose hours that best fit your schedule. You will collaborate with a diverse team of coaches and administrators who will support you and share ideas. Ongoing feedback and continued training will help you develop professionally and personally. As you follow your students’ progress, you will build strong relationships and meaningful connections.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly and effectively in both English and their native language. You bring experience as an educator and a genuine passion for teaching language and culture.

Responsibilities
• Use the communicative approach and Mango methodology in online language teaching.
• Plan personalized sessions with Mango’s learning tools.
• Coach professional clients and, in some cases, their spouses and children.
• Assess students’ language skills and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage multiple students and groups with varying schedules and proficiency levels.
• Maintain attendance records, schedules, and syllabi.
• Teach 10 to 30 hours per week, typically during US business hours.
• Complete 8–12 hours of initial online training, paid for by Mango Languages.

Job Requirements
• Native French speaker.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven experience teaching French to English speakers and/or a degree in language teaching, applied linguistics, or a teaching credential.
• Strong interest in language and culture learning and teaching.
• Experience using technology in live online instruction preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies (experience with Zoom, Google Suite, or similar tools preferred).
