WHAT YOU’LL DO You gain media attention and build awareness and consideration in support of our crowdfunding campaign. This media coverage is to be earned within a short predefined period among our socially and ecologically conscious target audience, which is English speaking and largely North American and Western European.

● You develop a public relations strategy, including a media and influencer campaign that increases awareness and consideration. ● You execute the public relations activities, including writing press releases and other content, and conducting a media outreach campaign targeting journalists, bloggers and influencers in our space. ● You establish agreed-upon earned media metrics, and measure results. ● You are the first point of contact for incoming inquiries from the press and provide counsel to our founders on messaging and media relations.
WHAT YOU BRING ● 5+ years experience in the public relations field, preferably PR agency experience, ideally b2c ● Proven success in developing and executing PR strategies and plans tailored to specific audiences, ideally for startups and short-term campaigns ● Ability to pitch challenging stories to key media, from journalists to bloggers ● Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bonus points ● Crowdfunding experience ● Well-established relationships with progressive media journalists and bloggers
