Piton Labs is seeking a Business Development Representative who’s excited to help us move into the next phase of our expansion. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in growing our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates in time zones between GMT‑8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT‑3 are strongly preferred, though other cases may be considered case by case.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You’ll take part in the full sales process—from prospecting to closing—with support from our founding team. While deep technical knowledge isn’t required, having a basic understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our offering to potential customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and reaching out to new potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs in meetings, events, and conferences
– Building and executing sales strategies for our core markets (startups and corporate innovation)
– Collaborating with engineering to share customer information and requirements
– Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent communication
– Delivering presentations and demonstrations that show how our solutions solve customer problems

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
– Native or fluent English
– 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in a tech environment
– Proven track record of generating new business opportunities
**REMOTE WORK POLICY**
– Fully remote role, no physical office
– Preference for candidates in the U.S. with authorization to work
– Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with U.S. East Coast time on most days
– Suitable for digital nomads who don’t need a fixed location
