Role Overview
The Senior Epidemiologist evaluates epidemiological models, study designs, public-health datasets, and causal interpretations of observed trends. This role focuses on analyzing methodology, identifying confounders, and summarizing population-level insights with scientific precision.
What You’ll Do
– Review epidemiological models and validate assumptions
– Interpret population-level health data and identify trend drivers
– Assess methodology for bias, confounding, or misclassification
– Summarize findings in structured, scientifically accurate formats
– Evaluate interventions, risk factors, and outcome relationships
– Support recurring reviews of surveillance data and public-health reports
What You Bring
Must-Have:
– Background in epidemiology, public health, or biostatistics
– Strong familiarity with study design, inference, and causal reasoning
– Ability to analyze large, complex health datasets
Nice-to-Have:
– Experience in infectious disease modeling or clinical epidemiology
$40 – $80 an hour
