We’re seeking friendly, attentive independent contractors to help federal employees and retirees, compensationers, and retired military personnel with plan enrollment, setting up new accounts, answering general plan questions, and navigating our website.

This is a seasonal position and a great way to get started with Working Solutions. Open enrollment runs November 10 to December 8, 2025. Call volume will be highest during this period, with lower demand before and after open enrollment. Apply today to be considered!

Earnings Potential
– The contracted rate is $0.28 per Customer Interaction Minute (CIM) for English and $0.31 per CIM for Spanish.
– Contractors are provided a prorated minimum of 54 minutes per productive hour.
– Additional incentives are available beyond the per-minute rate.

Skills Needed

Schedule
– Flexible scheduling—you choose your own hours!
– Hours are 7:00 AM–8:00 PM CT, Monday–Friday, and may expand during open enrollment.

Work Environment Requirements
– A quiet, uninterrupted workspace throughout your shift.

Technology Requirements
– Personal computer (no tablets)
– Broadband internet connection (at least 10 MBPS recommended)
– Wired internet connection (cable, fiber optic, or DSL only; no Wi‑Fi, satellite, or mobile internet)
– Windows 11
– Windows Security/Microsoft Defender Antivirus (included with Windows 11; must be running and up to date)
– Wired USB headset with a microphone
– A smartphone and willingness to receive program-related text messages
– Mac users: limited to Intel-based Macs with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility

Important Information
– We are currently unable to accept contractors who live in: CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, MN, MT, NH, NJ, NY, OR, PA, VT, WA, or WI for this program.
– Contractors must also successfully complete a criminal background check.

Contractual Relationship: Your relationship with Working Solutions is contractual. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your assignment. Working Solutions will not withhold taxes from your earnings while you are contracted. Once you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to waive claims against Working Solutions for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, workers’ compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance, or any employee benefits.
