As a Freelance Subtitler with CreatorGlobal, you’ll be an essential part of our transcription and localization teams. You’ll own the process of producing English subtitles for original content, helping make our videos accessible to wider audiences.

About the Role

Are you a skilled subtitling professional who feels comfortable in fast-paced settings and enjoys experimenting with unconventional tools? We’re seeking an English Subtitle Specialist to join our localization team and support an innovative subtitle production workflow for MrBeast content.

In this role, you’ll create, edit, and deliver English subtitles for weekly MrBeast YouTube videos. You’ll manage every stage of the subtitling process and ensure subtitles are delivered on time to CreatorGlobal leadership. You’ll also contribute to our new subtitling workflow, using your subtitling expertise in a constantly evolving production environment.

Additional responsibilities include subtitle versioning and editing, making conforming updates, updating change logs and transcripts, performing subtitle QC, and supporting ad-hoc subtitling and localization requests.

What You’ll Do

• Create English subtitles for weekly YouTube content, ensuring language accuracy and adherence to standard subtitling guidelines.
• Review feedback from team members or leadership and incorporate it effectively into updated subtitles.
• Support ad-hoc tasks such as subtitle versioning, conforming subtitles to updated video references, and subtitle/transcript QC.
• Learn and adapt to a continuously changing proprietary tool that works like familiar subtitle software while generating specialized formatting.
• Work with a flexible schedule and deliver subtitle files within tight turnaround times after video delivery.
• Communicate clearly with CreatorGlobal leadership about tool problems, inconsistencies, or workflow improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker
• Professional subtitling experience, or experience in related areas such as transcription, dialogue lists, dubbing, AD script writing, subtitling templates, proofreading and editing, etc.
• Flexible availability to handle late requests and begin tasks immediately after video delivery.
• Comfort working with proprietary or non-standard tools.
• Curiosity and interest across disciplines—experience or real enthusiasm for coding, motion graphics, media production, or UX is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of subtitle formats beyond SRT, such as ASS, VTT, or formats that include embedded style metadata.
• Experience with subtitling or video tools like OOONA, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability when delivering consistent quality work under pressure.
