Who are we?
We are Wonolo – short for Work Now Locally and pronounced “wha-noh-loh” (don’t think about it too hard, say it fast!). We are a tech company that is disrupting the temporary staffing industry with a mission to democratize the workplace for all.
Our main goal is to empower the in-demand workforce by making access to flexible work, opportunities to learn new skills, a living wage, and comprehensive portable benefits and perks the new standard for all.
Why should you want to work with us?
At Wonolo, we recognize the barriers that make it difficult for people to find fulfilling work and for companies to find quality workers. We believe that there’s a better way to connect people and jobs. A transparent way that brings together people from diverse backgrounds. An equitable way that aims to make broad job opportunities available to everyone. A versatile way that supports flexibility for workers and businesses alike. That’s why we exist. We’re passionate about solving these problems with a technology platform that enables people to choose work that works for them instead of the other way around.
The future of working is here and we are leading the charge. We are disrupting the $140BN temporary staffing industry through our two-sided tech marketplace that connects hundreds of businesses in need of front-line workers with over 1 million underemployed workers in local markets across the United States, within minutes. We guarantee transparency, flexibility, and reliability.
