Job Description:
The Marketing team is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to oversee the full email campaign lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment. This role is highly self‑directed and focuses on creating compelling, value‑driven email campaigns that support customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate brings creativity and expertise to develop engaging email content for lead generation and customer interaction.

Reporting to our Baltimore headquarters is required for onboarding, training, and in‑person team or company events.

A Day in the Life:
• Manage the complete email campaign process, including set‑up, list uploads and cleanup, QA/testing, scheduling, tagging, and deploying one‑time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content campaigns
• Execute all email initiatives, including marketing automation, drip campaigns, landing pages, and forms
• Build and maintain segmented contact lists for targeted communication to prospects, leads, non‑customer contacts, customer contacts, channel partners/integrators, and other key audiences
• Gather and document requests for bulk communications, determining optimal channels, timing, placement, and necessary stakeholders
• Ensure all emails follow brand and style guidelines
• Maintain the email preference center, manage opt‑out compliance, and confirm emails align with customer preferences
• Resolve technical issues related to HTML templates, segmentation, and other campaign execution components
• Share campaign performance metrics with the Content Marketing Director for reporting and insights
• Organize images and content files from internal creative teams

Required Skills:
• Advanced understanding of Salesforce and Pardot Object Relationship Models
• Ability to build and maintain segmented lists to reach the right audiences
• Knowledge of email execution, lead scoring, and best practices for automated campaigns
• A team‑oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Strong collaboration skills for working with multiple departments and stakeholders
• Self‑starter with the ability to accept guidance and constructive feedback
• Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of completing projects
• Excellent writing and copyediting skills
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS with the ability to build and modify Pardot templates for emails, forms, and landing pages
• Ability to report on email marketing KPIs using Salesforce and Pardot, including Closed Won business generated by marketing efforts and leads/contacts created from email outreach
• Knowledge of email laws such as CAN‑SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and CCPA

Desired Skills:
• Experience building and maintaining Pardot Engagement Studio programs
• Pardot lead scoring for CRM syncing
• Pardot/Salesforce administration experience

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Pardot; experience with other lead‑generation tools such as Adobe Marketo, ZoomInfo Engage, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoom Webinars is a plus

Salary: $74,000 – $85,000 per year
This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this role. Not all candidates will qualify for the top of the range. Final salary will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and education or certifications.
