Rejoiner is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and proven Email Designer to work full-time as part of our customer success team. This is a mid-level position. You will be responsible for designing email creative for a variety of high-profile retail & eCommerce clients. The successful candidate will have expert-level knowledge of current email design best practices, a demonstrated ability to design on a conceptual level as well as a strong interest in email as a communication medium.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the ideation and design of marketing emails that are eye-catching, on-brand, and produce high conversion rates
• Working knowledge of usability best practices, and an interest in keeping on top of industry trends
• Understand and provide guidance on email compliance standards
• Collaborate with our Creative Director, Email Development team, and Customer Success team members to turn your designs into developed email templates
• Strong team player/collaborator who can handle client feedback and communication
• The ability to verbally articulate the strengths/weakness of designs, and provide insightful feedback on how to make an existing design more successful
• Digital photography: color correct and retouch photos
• Maintain multiple clients’ brand standards

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in email design
• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication skills with a predisposition to ask “why?”
• Commitment to detail and quality, within tight deadlines and high volumes
• Expert-level use of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Understanding of email design and coding best practices
• Strong knowledge of current mobile/responsive design practices

Pluses

• Previous experience with light copywriting
• Previous experience coding HTML emails
• Experience with Sketch
