Our platform team is responsible for maintaining and constantly evolving our technology platform from a UX, programming and devops perspective. Our core platform is based on AWS where we run a collection of Kubernetes clusters specific to each global region that we operate in.

We have three disciplines inside the platform team:

• UX – how it works from the outside

• Programming – how it works from the inside

• Devops – how it lives and evolves in response to usage

This role is to increase our programming capacity. The team mainly uses Elixir and Elm. We also leverage the power of distributed Erlang to allow all of our applications to talk to each other in a dynamic and speedy way. If you don’t already know any of these technologies that’s fine. None of our team did when we started on this journey and the team here willsupport you through your learning.

Having recently completed a large internal re-development of our foundational platform to support our future growth we’re now returning to working using Scrum. We’ll be measuring the team’s success by the software we deliver and we’re very excited to put our new platform through it’s paces.

We’re working on some extremely exciting new products and as a member of the platform team, you will be playing a key role in delivering these.

We’re also now making a solid effort to promote remote working as a first class thing. You’ll be a part of the first batch of remote workers and we’d like you to help us get it right. For now though, we’re limiting this to candidates inside the EU and USA.
