PeopleGrove is looking for a driven, experienced Director of Implementation Services to onboard our higher education partners using our advanced product suite. The Director of Implementation Services will lead a team of implementation specialists responsible for PeopleGrove products and solutions. You will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The position requires senior leadership and strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational excellence and measurable outcomes.

**What You’ll Do**
– Implement PeopleGrove’s Product Suite by overseeing successful deployments across the customer portfolio
– Drive operational excellence and consistency in project management
– Become highly proficient in PeopleGrove product features and support implementation and configuration work as needed
– Manage resource planning and capacity to ensure delivery readiness
– Improve PeopleGrove’s project delivery methodology and ensure adoption by internal and external stakeholders
– Lead escalated projects both internally and with customers
– Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies
– Contribute to sales efforts by ensuring proper scoping and resourcing
– Partner cross-functionally to set clear stakeholder expectations
– Coach and mentor PeopleGrove consultants to help clients manage scope, timelines, and deliverables—supporting long-term customer success beyond initial onboarding
– Build strong relationships across teams and with customers
– Produce key customer references through high-quality delivery
– Support creation of Statements of Work and approval of Change Orders
– Use an ownership mindset to navigate business challenges and achieve organizational goals
– Travel to customer sites as needed

**Enhance Customer Retention and Engagement**
– Work with Customer Success to promote new features, gather feedback, and share success stories to improve customer satisfaction
– Collaborate with Customer Success and Learning teams to design user adoption and renewal/engagement campaigns
– Ensure strategies and playbooks align with the overall go-to-market approach

**Leadership and Team Development**
– Support team growth by mentoring and collaborating with cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and high performance
– Provide guidance and leadership to help junior team members expand responsibilities and grow in their careers

**Who You Are**
– 7–10 years leading consulting services delivery teams in a SaaS environment
– Proven experience with forecasting, resource allocation, and capacity planning
– Strong analytical thinking and systems-level perspective
– Ability to translate details into a broader strategic view
– Experience adapting to rapidly changing products and evolving customer needs
– Track record of building high-performing teams and addressing underperformance
– Experience with risk mitigation and escalation management
– Strong leadership presence in presentations and communications

**Preferred**
– Master’s degree in business, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
– Experience in higher education technology
