About the Role
As a Project Manager at Constructive, you will oversee our retainer accounts, including tiered partner services and basic maintenance clients. You will work closely with designers, developers, and content creators to achieve successful outcomes. Your responsibilities include managing timelines, budgets, and client relationships; handling risks and challenges; fostering collaboration and innovation; and ensuring all deliverables meet our quality standards. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of web development and design, along with excellent communication and leadership skills for guiding cross‑functional teams.

Your Core Responsibilities
• Manage the successful delivery of multiple development and maintenance projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and agency standards
• Lead cross‑functional teams of designers, developers, content creators, and strategists
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress toward goals
• Maintain strong client communication and manage expectations throughout each project
• Identify and address project risks and issues, creating contingency plans as needed
• Ensure high‑quality delivery through quality assurance reviews and adherence to industry best practices

The Types of Projects You’ll Manage
• Retainer clients who continuously update and strengthen their brand and website. Projects may include developing an impact report, writing copy for a press release, or designing a microsite for a conference.

Skills & Experience You’ll Need
• 3+ years of digital project management experience, ideally in an agency setting
• 3+ years of direct client‑facing experience
• 2+ years managing WordPress web development projects
• Experience working remotely
• Experience writing tickets for developers
• Ability to pivot as project needs evolve
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, web development, and brand design
• Excellent proactive communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
• A resourceful, self‑starting approach to problem‑solving, documentation, and communication
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams
• Ability to identify and report potential risks to internal stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities at once
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Slack, Harvest, Forecast) and Agile methods
• Strong presentation and public‑speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex project details clearly

Nice‑to‑Haves
• Project management certifications such as PMP, or certifications in digital marketing or related areas
• Experience with methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall, and willingness to adopt new tools or frameworks
• Experience with Drupal
• Familiarity with client tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo, and ability to align them with agency workflows
• Experience with sprint planning and Agile practices

Contract Expectations
• Hourly rate: $40–$60
• Availability: 15–20 hours per week, ideally overlapping with our working hours (9:00 AM–5:30 PM ET)
• Term: Ongoing
