What is NFTech?

At Non-fungible Technologies, Inc. (NFTech), we build financial products and infrastructure for non-fungible assets and the creator economy. We believe NFTs represent a 0 to 1 breakthrough for storing value and attributing ownership of unique assets. Our goal is to support the growth of this asset class through applications and infrastructure that address the growing needs of owners, collectors, and creators.

What Do We Build?

Our first platform, Arcade, is a decentralized peer-to-peer lending platform built atop Ethereum. The Arcade platform allows the trustless creation of collateralized loans with non-fungible tokens and/or crypto-assets. Arcade acts as a decentralized escrow service enabling secondary liquidity and creating the first marketplace of its kind for NFT loans.

This role is critical to the success of our team. As a senior DevOps engineer you will be working closely with another senior engineer to build the foundations of the infrastructure team at Non-fungible Technologies. Entrepreneurial, resourceful engineers are encouraged to apply as this is a role where you will be given tremendous opportunity and resources to scale and manage our infrastructure to meet our product needs.

Responsibilities

Manage cloud based stack of services ensuring reliability and uptime across Arcade product suite
Manage ELK based observability stack
Manage Terraform based IaaC to harden network and system infrastructure deployed across cloud services
Architect and develop automation tools, scripts to administer Kubernetes cluster and core services
Architect and manage internal key orchestration system
Improve internal developer tooling systems and optimize CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

5+ years professional engineering experience
Experience hardening infrastructure using system provisioning tools, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform
Experience with Docker and managing Kubernetes clusters on the public cloud or hard metal environments
Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
Experience configuring and tuning networks, load balancers, and API gateways (i.e. Nginx reverse proxies)
Advanced knowledge of DevOps best practices
Knowledge of Cloud Native Computing Foundation projects, such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Envoy

Nice-to-have

Experience working with WAF’s and caching systems, such as Cloudflare
Experience hardening and securing secrets within cloud infrastructure
Experience with streaming data systems, such as Kafka / RabbitMQ / ZeroMQ
Strong interest in the emerging NFT ecosystem and instigating disruptive technology in lending, stablecoins, and related DeFi use cases
Experience with collateralized lending or building peer-to-peer marketplaces
Bias towards automation and developing processes to ensure reliability and productivity of broader engineering team
