Piton Labs is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Specialist to join us as we begin the next phase of our growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located in time zones between GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT-3, though we will consider other cases at our discretion.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will support the full sales process—from the first outreach to closing deals—with help from the founding team. Deep technical experience is not required, but a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our solutions.
Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and contacting potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs in meetings, events, and conferences
– Developing and executing sales strategies tailored to our core markets (startups and business innovation)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer needs and market feedback
– Building and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships
– Delivering presentations and demos that show how our solutions address customer pain points

**Minimum requirements**
– Fluent English (near-native level)
– 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the tech sector
– Proven track record of acquiring new customers
**Remote work**
– Fully remote (no office location)
– Preferred: applicants located in the United States with work authorization
– Secondary preference: applicants from Canada or Uruguay or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap 4–6 hours for most days with U.S. business hours (Eastern Time)
– Suitable for digital nomads with no fixed work location
