Piton Labs is looking for a highly motivated, responsible Business Development Representative to support our next stage of growth. As the first person in this role, you will be critical to expanding our client base and forming new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates based between GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT-3, though applicants from other regions may be considered case by case.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will manage the entire sales process—from lead generation to signing contracts—with guidance and support from the founding team. While deep technical expertise isn’t required, strong familiarity with software development and the tech industry will help you communicate our value to prospective customers.

Key responsibilities include:
• Sourcing and contacting potential clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Creating and executing targeted business strategies for priority markets (startups and enterprise innovation teams)
• Partnering with the engineering team to share customer needs and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that clearly address customer requirements

**Desired profile**
You are driven, proactive, and experienced in business development. You build professional relationships effortlessly and distinguish yourself through:
• **Ownership:** You manage end-to-end processes and help shape company strategy.
• **Relationship building:** You develop partnerships and convert opportunities into customers.
• **Strategic thinking:** You understand market trends and can position our technology effectively.
• **Technical awareness:** You’re not an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to clearly explain our value proposition.

**Basic requirements**
• Native-level English proficiency
• At least four years of business development experience, ideally in a technology company
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers

**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote position with no requirement for a physical office
• Preference for candidates legally authorized to work in the United States
• Next preference: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap four to six hours with U.S. East Coast time most days
• Suitable for digital nomads (no fixed place of residence required)
