Piton Labs is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help us reach the next stage of expansion. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in growing our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates based between GMT-8 (US West Coast) and GMT-3 are preferred, though others may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

**DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You will participate in the full sales cycle—from identifying potential customers to closing contracts—supported by our founding team. You don’t need deep technical knowledge, but a solid understanding of software development and the broader tech landscape will help you communicate our value to prospective customers effectively.

Your key responsibilities include:
• Finding and actively reaching out to new leads
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer insights and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships through consistent communication
• Explaining and demonstrating our solutions clearly, and showing how they meet customer needs

You are entrepreneurial and bring strong Business Development experience. You naturally build long-term relationships. You stand out because you:

• Build connections by creating partnerships and turning contacts into customers
• Think strategically—understand market dynamics and position our technology effectively
• Understand the digital space: while you’re not an engineer, you know enough to communicate our value clearly

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
• Native or near-native English
• 4+ years of Business Development experience, ideally in a technology-focused role
• Proven success in acquiring new customers

**TELEWORK POLICY**
• Fully remote, with no requirement to be onsite in an office
• Preference for candidates in the United States with work authorization
• Second priority for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to maintain a 4–6 hour overlap with the East Coast time zone on most days
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no need for a fixed work location
