Piton Labs is looking for a highly motivated Business Development professional to help us launch the next phase of our growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in two areas: expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prioritize candidates in the GMT-8 to GMT-3 time window (West Coast of the U.S. through to GMT-3); candidates from other regions may be considered depending on the situation.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
With support from the founding team, you’ll participate in the full sales process—from first outreach to closing. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but you do need a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry so you can clearly communicate our value.

Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and reaching out to potential new customers
– Representing Piton Labs in meetings, industry events, and conferences/trade shows
– Developing and executing sales strategies focused on our core markets (startups and business innovation)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer needs and market feedback
– Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers
– Delivering product demos and presentations to show how our solutions help customers solve their problems

**About you**
You’re motivated and experienced in business development. You’re skilled at building relationships and sustaining them over time. You particularly stand out in these areas:
– **Ownership:** you want to drive the end-to-end process and contribute to the company’s growth
– **Relationship building:** you can attract partners and turn your network into customers
– **Strategic thinking:** you understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
– **Technical comfort:** you may not be an engineer, but you feel at ease in the digital environment and can clearly communicate our value

**General requirements**
– Native-level English
– 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in the tech sector
– Demonstrable and verifiable results in acquiring new customers

**Remote work**
– Fully remote, with no fixed office location
– Preferred: candidates based in the United States, with work authorization
– Secondary: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap with U.S. Eastern Standard Time for 4–6 hours on most working days
– Ideal for digital nomads who don’t have a fixed workplace
