Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative to support our next phase of growth. As our first hire in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates in the GMT‑8 time zone (U.S. Pacific) to GMT‑3, but we may consider candidates from other time zones depending on circumstances.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will be involved in the full sales cycle—from identifying and reaching out to prospects to closing deals—with support from the founding team. You don’t need deep technical knowledge, but a strong foundation in software development and the technology industry will help you clearly communicate our value to prospective customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and contacting new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs in meetings, industry events, and conferences
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for key markets (startups and corporate innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through ongoing communication
• Conducting demos and presentations to show how our solution addresses customer challenges

**General requirements**
• Native-level fluency in English
• 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally within the technology sector
• Proven ability to create new business
**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote, no physical office
• Priority for candidates in the United States with legal authorization to work
• Secondary consideration for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap with U.S. East Coast time by 4–6 hours on most weekdays
• Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed workplace
