As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take the lead in designing and developing reliable data pipelines, integrating and transforming data from a wide range of sources such as APIs, relational databases, and file systems. Working closely with business and analytics teams, you will deliver high-quality solutions that support the organization’s strategic goals. Your role will be essential in ensuring the quality, reliability, security, and governance of all ingested data, supporting our mission of Collaboration, Innovation, and Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data pipelines.
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, relational databases, files, etc.).
Work with business and analytics teams to gather and understand data requirements.
Ensure the ingested data meets quality, reliability, security, and governance standards.
Apply modern DataOps practices such as version control, data testing, and CI/CD.
Document data engineering processes and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must-have Skills:
Demonstrated experience creating and managing large-scale data pipelines in Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, SQL).
Strong Python and SQL skills for data transformation and processing.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and distributed data processing.
Practical experience with DataOps methodologies, including version control (Git), CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability.
Proficiency in Git.
