We are seeking a Database Administrator to assist our Development Team. The primary role will focus on the performance, integrity and security of a database. They will also be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database platforms in all DEV, QA, RC and production environments to meet business needs

• Monitor database platforms in all environments for performance, availability, and compliance with regulatory policies

• Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications

• Mentor development and data administration staff on transactional TSQL, ETL, and data protection best practices

• Refining SQL code to increase performance of SQL databases

• Act as a technical lead for all data center and corporate data platform design work
