MAKE A CHANGE BY APPLYING YOUR DESIGN SKILLS! Charity Entrepreneurship, an incubator for high-impact charities, is seeking an intern to assist with data visualization and/or graphic design tasks for our research reports, website, and social media channels.
ABOUT CHARITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP The best charities in the world have a huge impact. Charity Entrepreneurship (CE) is a startup incubator dedicated to getting more great nonprofits founded. Our organization conducts research to identify the most promising potential charitable interventions, then runs a training program that incubates 10+ evidence-based charities per year. Focus areas include animal advocacy, health policy, mental health, and family planning.
Responsibilities
ABOUT THE ROLE Charity Entrepreneurship produces a lot of written content — both direct research and meta EA posts, as well as smaller writing pieces. Strong data visualization and social media banners are key to reach the target audience and get the message across. We are looking for candidates who can support us in at least one of the following areas:
- Data visualization skills (e.g. infographics, charts)
- Web graphics skills (e.g. banner design, social media posts)
- Layout skills (e.g. layout/template for reports)
- Video editing
Requirements
WHAT WE NEED
- Exceptional graphic skills in one or more of the areas outlined above
- At least basic understanding of effective altruism
- Able to put in a minimum of 5 hours a week
- Able to commit to at least three months of internship (less if full-time)
