At Fanatee, millions of people around the world play our games every day, generating billions of analytics events that feed into our data systems. As a Data Team intern, you will join the group responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and tools that store and process this information. The Data Team develops data products that guide decision-making, support product and business areas, and enable analyses of game performance and player behavior.

Responsibilities:
As a Data Team intern, you will help identify and define key challenges and opportunities within our games and data products. You will contribute to defining KPIs and metrics that measure the success of these products. Your work will involve translating informal requests into clear technical specifications using mathematical and computational concepts. You will help identify suitable solutions to defined problems, taking into account complexity, resources, priorities, and deadlines. You will work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights and actionable conclusions. You will also collaborate with the Data Engineering team to develop and deploy high-value data products aligned with our strategic goals. Clear communication and helping the team understand computational and statistical methods to promote a data-driven culture will be part of your role. You will participate in researching, experimenting with, designing, and prototyping new technologies to build proof-of-concepts and support their smooth implementation.

Requirements:
To qualify, you must be currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. You should understand programming logic, SQL, and databases, and be able to convert business needs into technical requirements. Strong analytical skills, proactivity, and the ability to work well in a team are essential. You must be eager to learn new tools and technologies and have proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have:
It is a plus if you have knowledge of big data concepts and tools such as Python, Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Parquet. Experience with JAVA and familiarity with AWS services are also beneficial.
