Your responsibilities will include:
– Transferring information from paper documents into computer systems or databases using keyboards, data entry tools, or scanners
– Entering data provided directly by customers
– Creating spreadsheets with large amounts of numerical data while maintaining accuracy
– Verifying data accuracy by comparing entries with the original documents
– Updating and modifying existing records
– Retrieving data from databases or electronic files when needed
– Performing regular backups to safeguard stored information
– Digitizing information originally in paper format
– Inputting customer-supplied data
– Producing precise spreadsheets containing extensive numerical details
– Assisting with financial tasks such as processing payroll and preparing invoices
– Managing payroll activities, including gathering timesheets and payroll information, calculating wages, preparing earnings statements, and distributing paychecks
