Job Description:
We are looking for a Remote Data Entry Clerk to help keep our databases and systems accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate has strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and can work independently. This role is essential for ensuring that our data remains reliable and easily accessible to both team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately input data from source documents into various databases and systems within set deadlines
• Review data for errors or inconsistencies, make necessary corrections, and verify results
• Ensure data accuracy by comparing entries with source documents
• Update existing records and retrieve information from databases as needed
• Perform routine backups to securely store data
• Organize and maintain files and records for easy access
• Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues or discrepancies
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
• Proficiency with data entry software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in data management or related fields is a plus
