Job Summary:
We are seeking a Remote Data Entry Clerk to support our team by keeping our databases and systems accurate and current. The ideal candidate has strong typing abilities, keen attention to detail, and can work with minimal supervision. This position plays an essential role in ensuring our data remains dependable and easily accessible for both team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter data accurately into various databases and systems from source documents within assigned timeframes
• Review data for errors or inconsistencies, make necessary corrections, and verify results
• Confirm data accuracy by comparing entries with source documents
• Update existing records and retrieve information from databases as needed
• Perform routine backups to ensure data is safely stored
• Organize and maintain files and records for easy access
• Work with team members to resolve any data-related issues or discrepancies
• Protect the confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar position
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Strong attention to detail and error-spotting abilities
• Proficiency with data entry software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in data management or related areas is beneficial
