We are seeking a detail‑oriented data entry clerk to consistently maintain and update our company databases. This role involves communicating with employees and customers to gather necessary information, entering data into the appropriate systems accurately and promptly, and identifying and correcting any errors. You will ensure that issues are reported to the appropriate individuals when needed.
Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities:
• Collect invoices, statements, reports, personal information, documents, and other data from staff, departments, and clients.
• Review collected information to identify key details.
• Fix errors and organize data to ensure fast and accurate entry.
• Create precise spreadsheets.
• Input and update data in the correct databases.
• Make sure all data is properly backed up.
• Notify the appropriate parties about any errors found.
• Store physical documents in an orderly system for easy access.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.
Data Entry Clerk Requirements:
• High school diploma.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong English language skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to stay focused for long periods and work accurately with good speed.
• Proficient touch‑typing skills.
