About the role
Nextbite’s Data Strategy and Analytics team is seeking a Data Analyst who will accelerate data utilization by building and validating data sets and creating stories behind the data. You will transform and organize data sets, analyze data trends and create digestible reports and visualizations. In this role you’ll be driving the data inspection cadence with functional leaders’ and providing analyses for strategic planning and ad-hoc analyses.
This is a remote role in the following states: FL,GA,IA,IL,IN,KS,KY,MA,MD,MI,MN,NC,NJ,NV,NY,OH,OK,PA,SC,TN,TX,VA,WA, or WI
Salary range: $90,000-$95,000 annually
The impact you will have:
What you will do in your first 90 days
You will work directly with Senior leadership on key initiatives
You will support business leaders by building datasets and associated reporting based on stakeholder needs and company priorities.
You’ll work with end users to define requirements, build and validate MVP deliverables
Additional roles and responsibilities:
Develop data pipelines to automate manual processes
Identify data trends to help drive business decisions
Reduce ad-hoc requests through development of automation and dashboards
Improve reporting procedures while updating and optimizing existing reporting sources and dashboards
What you bring to the role:
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
4+ years of proven experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role
Advanced SQL skills (window functions, CTEs, etc.)
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI preferred)
Experience with Python
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Aptitude to translate technical business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
Collaboration across multiple teams and the ability to be nimble; field multiple data requests at once
Nice to have: Experience using dbt, Fivetran, and Snowflake
