The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products and growth features.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science field
• Experience using SAS, SQL, R and/or Python
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Qlik/Tableau/Power BI is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management skills including advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Exposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive etc. is a plus
• Applied knowledge of data science techniques
• Hands-on experience in data mining and application of machine learning techniques
• Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Develop tools to process data streams and static data
• Translate business challenges into data science problems and applications
• Communicate complex solutions in a clear, understandable way to non-experts
• Design algorithms, build models and prototype solutions for multiple business areas
• Build and maintain software solutions while contributing to large-scale object-oriented applications
• Work on evolving data architectures and system solutions
• Abstract complex business problems and determine how to use a combination of data to provide a clear, actionable and business-driven answer in a clear, compelling way
