Assignr is a SaaS platform that helps referee and umpire associations, along with sports leagues, manage, assign, and pay sports officials.
We support over 50,000 referees and umpires worldwide, offering simple tools to handle scheduling, game assignments, communication, and payments across many different sports. Assignr continues to grow, especially with new partnerships that include several state soccer referee associations in the U.S. and our collaboration with the Officials Management Group.
We are dedicated to delivering excellent customer support and are looking for someone to join our team. Most support is provided through email, with some assistance offered by phone and Zoom.
As a member of the Assignr support team, you will:
• Respond to and manage tech support requests, including password resets, helping users navigate the platform, and hosting short Zoom sessions for more complex questions.
• Contribute to building our technical support knowledge base by writing help guides and creating instructional videos.
• Answer incoming customer calls to address issues, respond to questions, and gather feedback to help improve the Assignr experience.
• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve technical problems as they come up.
Requirements:
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, with accuracy in understanding and completing tasks.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with proper grammar and spelling.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Resourcefulness and the ability to handle new or challenging situations quickly and effectively.
• Initiative and a self-driven attitude, with the ability to act on opportunities without being prompted.
Working Hours:
• Full-time contract role, approximately 35 hours per week.
• At least half of your work hours must fall between 9am–5pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
• You must live in the Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones.
• This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.

Required Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with web applications and basic web technology from a user perspective
• Ability to quickly learn and use new technology independently
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Prior technical support experience with a SaaS company is strongly preferred.
