Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Collect information needed to generate quotes
- Manage customer billing, payment reminders, and payment processing
- Handle requests and documentation related to proof of insurance
- Report and follow up on claims
- Provide administrative support, including running daily reports and submitting underwriting requests
- Review policies to identify cross-selling opportunities
Required Skills:
- Ability to learn and apply product, industry, and market knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders
- Ability to build professional business relationships with prospects and policyholders
- Strong listening skills plus effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to take initiative and respond effectively in a variety of situations without guidance
