Koala Health is expanding and seeking new team members. Koala is a veterinary pharmacy focused on making pet healthcare easy and enjoyable for pet owners. We simplify the process of purchasing medications and health products by dispensing and shipping them in our custom pouch packaging. Our goal is to create a positive, seamless experience for both pets and their owners.

In this position, you will handle customer inquiries and interactions. You will also process and adjust orders, as well as escalate customer feedback across various communication channels. To succeed, you should be able to create a pleasant customer experience and stay calm and courteous even when customers are upset. Your skills and background will help shape the best practices that support a world-class customer experience.

Core responsibilities include:
– Assisting customers by phone, email, and chat with questions about products and services
– Handling both incoming and outgoing calls
– Proactively identifying answers to questions you anticipate pet owners may have
– Taking ownership of each issue from beginning to end
– Delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment
– Providing technical support as customers navigate our website
– Recognizing that each interaction is an opportunity to create a great experience, not just solve a single issue

Basic qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– At least 6 months of experience using computer and web-based tools
– At least 1 year of customer service or veterinary care experience
– Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm MT
– Comfort working in virtual environments, including spending your shift on the phone with customers
– Strong spoken and written communication skills

Virtual requirements:
– Broadband internet access through DSL, cable, or fiber with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
– A private, distraction-free home workspace where you can focus fully on customers

Preferred qualifications:
– More than 2 years of relevant phone or email customer service experience
– Experience working remotely
– Experience in veterinary or pet care
– Strong teamwork abilities
– A love for animals, which is a bonus but not required

This role offers a competitive starting rate of $18 per hour.
