We are looking for a highly proficient, independent, reliable and motivated Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the IT infrastructure development and administrative processes at https://www.tabletennis11.com.
Our headquarters and warehouse are located in Estonia – one of the most advanced digital societies in the world. Management and Marketing teams are working remotely from different locations in Europe. We also have a brick-and-mortar store in Paris downtown. You can work remotely anywhere in Europe or in our office in Narva, Estonia.
This is a leadership role and you will work closely with the Board members, CEO and CMO. As such, this is a huge opportunity to make your mark.
Responsibilities
- Help the company on the technical front. Be a strong leader of our IT processes.
- Continuously evolve the company’s strategic technical direction.
- See the big picture of our IT infrastructure. Identify opportunities and risks for the business.
- Take over technical responsibility for code quality, system security and the entire development / technical administration being done on Tabletennis11’s IT infrastructure. Ensure its stability, speed and scalability.
- Manage external IT service providers or build up and lead internal IT team.
Main Tasks
- Make sure that all important technical things function smoothly.
- Suggest new technical improvements.
- Advise and inform the rest of the team about tech-related decisions and strategies.
- Set tasks for developers and control their progress.
- Hire new developers or development firms if needed.
- Maintain documentation of all key functions and modules with the developers.
- Provide trainings / presentations of new features to our team.
- Prepare the annual IT budget, control it and provide monthly reports.
