Filter King is hiring a Remote Content Writer to join the fast growing E-commerce company.
Essential Functions
- Research topics to create a compelling content that establishes us as a thought leader in the industry and educates & engages our current and prospective customers
- Write content for all marketing projects including webpages, landing pages, monthly newsletters, promotional emails, customer communications, direct mail pieces, blog posts
- Optimize copy for SEO: applying keyword research to writing skills
- Proof-reads all marketing material before approval and distribution
- Manage multiple ongoing projects and deliver high-quality work on time
- Helps lead brand efforts by conceiving and executing the overarching content strategy
- Plan, produce and create a monthly program of content to be used across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Email) increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders
- Set Filter King apart from competitors through the power of differentiated content
- Collaborate with various departments with the ability to translate business needs and communication briefs into creative execution
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and above-average written and verbal skills
- 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, online marketing or blogging
- Experience in developing voice, messaging, and visual identity for a large organization
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of current social media technologies to make content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- Expert on what encourages engagement on social media platforms and how to measure the success of posts and differences between the platforms
- A keen eye for detail, grammar, and consistent use of brand-appropriate voice
- Portfolio of written content required
