ABOUT THE JOB
Our Risk Management team is seeking their next Content Moderator. We’re looking for a curious, investigative problem solver with strong judgment and real moral courage when dealing with difficult choices.
Your role will be to join an established moderation team to review and evaluate all user-generated content on Bonfire—making fast, informed decisions across topics such as intellectual property infringement, violations of community guidelines, and other ethical concerns. You’ll support all areas of content moderation, including policy development, external communications, learning and development, and broader team support.
This position is within our Operations department and reports to the Risk Manager.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to:
- Moderating content for all Enterprise Non-Profit Campaigns
- Assisting with other user-generated content moderation needs
- Reviewing and maintaining our Greek licensing process
- Managing the DMCA Notice system
- Handling all outbound and inbound communications related to content
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in content moderation.
- 3+ years of experience in customer service.
- Any appropriate and effective combination of the qualifications listed above.
- Strong working proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Current travel documents required for international travel without restriction, including but not limited to an unexpired passport.
- Reliable access to a home workspace with minimal distractions, along with dependable high-speed internet and access to a smartphone/mobile device.
- Technically proficient, with strong computer skills and the ability to embrace and adapt to technology changes that are essential to how we work.
- Working knowledge of core Google business, productivity, and collaboration tools/software.
- Working knowledge of core Microsoft Office applications.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with copyright, trademark, and content policy
- Knowledge of USPTO, TESS, or other relevant trademark databases
- Knowledge of current U.S. internet moderation laws and policies
