Limitless Technology is looking for a passionate and empathetic **Customer Service Chat Specialist** (chat support specialist) to strengthen our global remote team of freelance support professionals.
In this role, you represent one of the world’s best-known gaming brands. You’ll collaborate with hundreds of like-minded people and use your skills to help others enjoy fast, smooth, and seamless experiences—through quick, clear, and friendly chat support. You’ll answer questions, resolve issues, and make every customer conversation feel effortless.
– Fully remote, freelance, and paid hourly
– Currently, shifts are available Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 18:30 UTC
– Hourly pay: $5–$20 USD depending on your location, plus additional incentives based on quality and volume
– You can choose your own shifts
– To stay on the team, you must average at least 20 hours per week and complete 100 or more chat interactions
– As support demand grows, we’ll expand coverage for global regions and offer 24/7 shift options to give you more planning flexibility
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting product users and values control over their own working hours.
**Your responsibilities**
– Answer questions via chat, resolve issues, and guide customers to the right solutions
– Provide accurate, high-quality support that meets service standards and reflects the brand’s tone and values
– Escalate complex cases to specialized teams when needed
– Keep clear, consistent notes for every interaction
– Stay up to date on product changes, service details, and policies to deliver informed support
– Share feedback on recurring issues to improve the overall customer experience
**What you bring**
– Demonstrable customer service experience, ideally through chat or digital support
– Excellent written English with strong spelling and grammar
– Confidence working with multiple tools and systems at the same time
– Strong attention to detail, empathy, and problem-solving skills
– A reliable internet connection and a personal computer
– Flexibility to work across different shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
– Additional customer-specific requirements, such as a valid PSN ID active for at least 1 year, 8+ hours of gameplay per month, and no community bans in the last 12 months
– You must have at least one 64-bit Windows 11 device. Mac and Chromebooks will be supported soon.
