Limitless Technology is looking for a passionate, empathetic **Chat Specialist** for customer support to strengthen our global, remote team of freelance support professionals.
In this role, you represent one of the world’s most well-known gaming brands. You’ll work alongside hundreds of like-minded people and use your skills to help others enjoy fast, smooth, and seamless experiences through clear, friendly chat support. You’ll answer questions, resolve issues, and make sure every customer conversation feels effortless.
– Fully remote freelance hourly position
– Available shifts: Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:30 UTC
– Hourly pay: $5–$20, depending on location, plus additional incentives for quality and volume
– You choose your own shifts
– To stay on the team, you must average at least 20 hours per week and complete 100+ chat interactions
– As demand increases, we expand regions and introduce 24/7 coverage to offer more planning flexibility
This role is especially well-suited for people who enjoy supporting customers with results-focused help and who value having control over their working hours.
**Your responsibilities**
– Answer questions via chat, troubleshoot issues, and guide customers to the right solutions
– Provide knowledgeable, high-quality support that meets service requirements and matches the brand’s tone and values
– Escalate complex cases to specialized teams when needed
– Keep clear, consistent notes during every interaction
– Stay up to date on product updates, service information, and policies to deliver informed support
– Share insights about recurring problems to improve the overall customer experience
**What you should bring**
– Experience in customer service, ideally via chat or digital support
– Excellent English skills in both speaking and writing, with strong spelling and grammar
– Ability to use multiple tools and systems safely and simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail, empathy, and problem-solving skills
– Reliable internet and your own computer
– Flexibility for shifts throughout the day, including evenings or weekends if required
– Additional customer-related requirements, e.g., an active PSN ID for at least 1 year, 8+ hours of gameplay per month, and no community bans in the past 12 months
– At least one 64-bit device with Windows 11 (Mac and Chromebook support will be available soon)
