Piton Labs is looking for an engaging Business Development Representative to join our team as we enter our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll be a key driver in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates whose working hours fall between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3, but we may consider others depending on the situation.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—with support from our founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but a solid understanding of software development and the technology industry will help you clearly communicate the value we bring to potential customers.
Your core responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to new potential customers
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our key markets (startups and innovation-focused enterprise environments)
• Working with the engineering team to translate customer feedback into concrete, actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication
• Delivering presentations and product demos that show how our solutions address customers’ challenges
**About you**
You’re results-driven and bring strong Business Development experience. You build relationships naturally and stand out by:

• **Thinking strategically:** you understand market dynamics and know how to position our technology effectively
• **Understanding technology:** you may not be an engineer, but you know the digital landscape well enough to explain the value we deliver clearly

**General requirements**
• English proficiency at a native or near-native level
• 4+ years of Business Development experience, ideally in a technical environment
• Proven ability to generate new business
**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote, with no physical office
• Preferred candidates based in the USA with work authorization
• Second priority for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with Eastern Time on most days
• Ideal for digital entrepreneurs without a fixed workstation
