Piton Labs is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Specialist to join our team as we enter the next phase of our growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located in time zones between GMT-8 (US West Coast) and GMT-3, but we will also consider other candidates on a case-by-case basis.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will support the entire sales cycle—from the first outreach to contract closing—with the help of our founder team. Deep technical expertise is not required, but a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:
– Identify and proactively reach out to potential customers
– Represent Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to our core markets (startups and innovation in the enterprise environment)
– Collaborate with the engineering team to share customer needs and market feedback
– Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
– Deliver presentations and demos that show how our solutions address customer challenges

**About You**
You are ambitious and bring strong business development experience. You build relationships easily and grow them over time. You especially excel at:

– **Strategic thinking:** You understand market dynamics and position our technology effectively
– **Tech awareness:** You don’t have to be an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to explain the value of our solutions clearly

**Minimum Requirements**
– Fluent English (near-native)
– 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in the technology sector
– Proven success in acquiring new customers

**Remote Work**
– Fully remote (no office location)
– Preferred: candidates from the United States with work authorization
– Second preference: candidates from Canada or Uruguay or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with U.S. Eastern Time on most days
– Suitable for digital nomads without a fixed workplace
