Piton Labs is looking for a committed Business Development Representative to join us as we move into our next growth phase. As the first person in this role, you will be a key driver in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates whose working hours fall between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3, though we may consider others depending on circumstances.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will participate in the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—supported by our founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a solid understanding of software development and the technology industry will help you clearly communicate the value we provide to potential customers.

Your core responsibilities include:
• Finding and reaching out to new prospective customers
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Developing and executing focused sales strategies for our key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to translate customer feedback into actionable needs
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication
• Delivering pitches and conducting product demos that show how our solutions address customer challenges

**About you**
You are driven and have strong business development experience. You naturally build and maintain relationships, and you stand out because you:

• **Build relationships:** you excel at forming partnerships and turning relationships into customers
• **Think strategically:** you understand market dynamics and know how to position our technology effectively
• **Understand technology:** you may not be an engineer, but you know the digital landscape well enough to clearly explain the value we deliver

**General requirements**
• Native-level or near-native English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in a technical environment
• Proven ability to generate new business

**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote role with no physical office
• Preference for candidates located in the United States with work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with Eastern Time on most days
• Ideal for digital entrepreneurs without a fixed workspace
