Piton Labs is looking to hire an outstanding Business Development Representative as it enters a new phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our client base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates located between GMT‑8 (US Pacific Time) and GMT‑3 are preferred, though others may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities and expectations
You will be involved in the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, with support from the founding team. Deep technical expertise isn’t required, but a general understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential clients.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Developing and executing sales strategies focused on our core markets (startups and corporate innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer insights and needs
• Maintaining strong client relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that highlight how our solutions address client challenges

General requirements
• Native-level proficiency in English
• At least four years of experience in business development, preferably in a tech company
• Proven ability to generate new business
Remote work policy
• Fully remote with no physical office
• Preference for candidates based in the United States with legal work authorization
• Candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay may also be considered
• Ability to overlap with Eastern Time for 4–6 hours most days
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no fixed location requirement
