Piton Labs is looking to hire a dedicated Business Development Representative as we move into our next stage of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our client base and establishing new strategic partnerships. Candidates located between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3 are strongly preferred, though others may be considered individually.
Responsibilities and expectations
You will be involved in the full sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals, with support from the founding team. While deep technical expertise is not required, a basic understanding of software development and the tech landscape will help you communicate our value to potential clients.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to potential clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Creating and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and corporate innovation teams)
• Working closely with the engineering team to share client needs and insights
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering demos that clearly show how our solutions address client challenges
About you
You are ambitious with a proven track record in business development. Building and maintaining relationships comes naturally to you. You are characterized by:

General requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• At least four years of business development experience, preferably in a tech company
• A proven ability to generate new business opportunities
Remote work policy
• We are a fully remote company with no physical office
• Preference for US‑based candidates with work authorization
• Candidates from Canada, Uruguay, and Paraguay are also considered
• Ability to maintain 4–6 hours of daily overlap with Eastern Time
• Suitable for digital nomads with no fixed work location required
