Piton Labs is looking to hire a committed Business Development Representative as we enter our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates based between GMT‑8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT‑3 are strongly preferred, though others may be considered on an individual basis.

Responsibilities and expectations
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals—with support from the founding team. While deep technical experience isn’t required, a basic understanding of software development and the tech landscape will help you communicate our value to potential customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Identify and reach out to prospective customers
• Represent Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Create and execute sales strategies targeting our core markets (startups and corporate innovation teams)
• Work closely with the engineering team to share customer needs and relevant information
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication
• Deliver demos that clearly show how our solutions address customer challenges

About you
You’re ambitious and have a proven track record in business development. Building and maintaining relationships comes naturally to you. You are characterized by:

• Relationship building: you excel at turning partnerships into successful business relationships
• Strategic thinking: you understand market trends and know how to position our technology effectively
• Tech environment fluency: you’re not an engineer, but you understand the digital world well enough to clearly communicate our value

General requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• At least four years of experience in business development, preferably at a technology company
• Proven ability to generate new business opportunities

Remote work policy
• We are a fully remote company with no physical office
• Preference for candidates in the U.S. with work authorization
• Candidates from Canada, Uruguay, and Paraguay are also considered
• Ability to overlap 4 to 6 hours per day with Eastern Time
• Suitable for digital nomads without the need for a fixed location
