**Role: Sr. Production/Application Support Engineer**
**Location: Egmore, Chennai – 600002**
**Work from office**

**Description:**
– Must have 5+ years of experience as a Support Engineer in Banking Domain applications/Production
– Handle and resolve L1 and L2 technical support tickets
– Collaborate with the Business and Vendor teams to prioritize support tickets
– Write Unix/Linux/Windows commands
– Communicate effectively and proactively with internal and external customers
– Test product functionality and new releases; identify and report improvement opportunities
– Act as a technical expert for Banking Applications
– Manage software upgrades on scheduled dates
– Serve as the primary point of contact for the client’s IT department
– Troubleshoot network, database, and software issues for client implementations
– Configure system settings and options; conduct unit, integration, and acceptance testing
– Create rules and data transfer mappings using SQL queries
– Select, update, and insert SQL queries for generating reports and databases
– Perform data definition, manipulation, control, and transactional control
– Handle database administration tasks, including creating and restoring SQL backups
– Knowledge of Command Prompt and its commands
– Provide technical overviews of software applications and requirements to clients during upgrade planning
– Manage setup of technical environments for hosted clients
– Knowledge of ITIL processes and tools such as ServiceNow
– Work with Help Desk staff to resolve client installation issues
